To determine your current revision, from the Contract Advisor Start Menu, look in the lower left-hand corner, and there should be red text indicating your Rev. version.
To install the patch, please follow these instructions:
1) Download the file, CAUpdate.zip, from this website to a location on your hard drive.
2) Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the file you just downloaded.
3) Using the folder list on the left, scroll up or down and use the plus signs to navigate to and display the 'ContAdvr' directory on your hard drive or network.
4) You should be able to see the 'ContAdvr' folder in the left pane, and the downloaded file in the right pane.
Note: Prior to this next step, please confirm everyone is out of the Contract Advisor program, including you.
5) Right-Click and drag the downloaded file, and drop the file onto the 'ContAdvr' folder.
6) Click the first 'Extract To...' option in the short menu. If 'Extract To' does not appear in the menu, you need to install the WinZip application from the PC Advisors Software CD, or download it from www.WinZip.com, then repeat from step 5.
7) Please over-write ALL files.
8) Once completed, Start Microsoft Excel.
9) From the Excel Menu, Click [File] [Open], and navigate to the 'ContAdvr' directory, and double-click on the "zFix.xls" file. Depending on your latest update and the number of Contract files in your system, the update can take 2 minutes to 2 hours. Once the update is complete, you will see the Contract Advisor Start Menu. All users may re-enter the system.
